Planted with Mont Blanc, but not as tall, striking though..

Hi Dawn, you see how the Chritophi is a shorter stemmed plant, so if I put more together they'll stand out by colour...They're like little stars the flower heads, so intricate...

Hi Dawn, I had to go and look, as I've only seen the two colours in the Giganticum range...
Flower colours vary with each allium species from violet, purple, and lilac shades to white, yellow, and pink. The most popular alliums are those with globe-shaped blooms atop long, sturdy stems.

This is what I found...Also they only bloom once for the season, but you can leave the globe on the top to dry...but the leaves seem to die off quick, in fact my leaves are a bit raggedy...

thanks crissue, i like the white ones and i quite fancy the yellow ones too:-) i will definitely get some and let you know next year how i done, if im still on goy of course! seems a long way off next year lol
