No Barbara , I think they are at home in most situations and have even been used for ground cover on farms so it stands to reason they must be able to cope with the suns heat, I'm sure yours will be fine :o)

I grow it with Centaurea Montana. The blue and the pink are lovely at this time of year. I have to restrict it to set areas.

My niece gave me a small piece of perscaria from her garden. It seemed to be thriving in pots but then it just disappeared. This one has a nice strong flower head.
