i do love clematis, ive just got the common montana one, but ive just bought another 5, so im excited for them to bloom, think it wont be this year though;-(

Thanks everyone, I have Montana too try 'Mayleen' Dawn, small and scented...lovely Clem...
It's only at the first stage of the Climbing frame OH made last year, wow will it be something when it eventually reaches the top...
It does favour a double I think Hb, and when the outer petals fall, it leaves a beautiful blue and white centre, that seems to last for ages...

Took another pic of this one this morning, it's flowering right across the bottom of the climbing frame, huge bloom too...lovely, very pleased...
