iv just started a tissue paper on canvas painting of blue poppies Neelen, so will look at this for ref. lovely arent they :o)

They certainly are Sticki this was all alone in the freshly dug bed, the last one I photographed was at Bodnant gardens, I had one but mine didn't survive the winter sadly love them though :o)

i have one neellan, i think they may be biannual?? the leaves are there so it has come through the winter. but no sign of a flower.
i have been to bodnant gardens, they are lovely.
