We have one too Leigh right in the middle of the garden were my daylily bed is, I've put a birdbath on mine :-) and when the birds have a splash around they water the plants too :-)
Are they your sweet peas in the pot ?

aww id love a birdbath! yeh the one under the fence kind of makes a nice feature now ive put the stones round it! yes! my sweetpeas...hope they get going again when sun comes out! :-)

i have one too stuck in the middle of my lawn, never though of a pot to go on it....

Thanks scottish! well the b.bath and that wheel planter were already here when we moved in. but im slowly adding stuff. yeh i dunno what the grates are for they never smell or need to be opened-maybe leading somewhere secret! who knows! :)
