Just today bought a double flowered pink Rubus.

I have rubus growing wild on the hillside...the flowers are pink and large enough that on first sight I thought I was looking at a wild rose. the leaves are huge, five lobed and very attractive. I tried the fruit but found that compared to raspberries (which the fruit resembles) they are juiceless and seedy...and not at all sweet.

Aááá. So this is raspberry! I was confused, because of the focus you used with camera. I thought those are large flowers.

Katarina they are surprisingly large about 2in or 50mm diameter.Could almost be mistaken for a wild rose

The berries of the one I have are not very edible! and I made a mistake the leaves are three lobed not five!
