Felt big enough as they were drunkenly whizzing around my head as I was perched precariously on the ladder with a couple of glasses of wine in me! :))

Got stung twice last week!! Never been stung by a bee before... :(

Once by one of those big black carpenter bees and once by a very angry little honey bee...!

Our hive of bees (I love saying that, it sounds so classy) is doing so well, we have to add another stage or they'll run out of space. That's OH's job, thank goodness - I seem to be much more disposed to being stung by anything - wasps, bees, scorpions...... I shall help him get kitted up this evening when they are quiet and sleepy. He seems to be learning fast.
That is a splendid wisteria, Lil - you don't see the white ones nearly so often as the mauve, and it's a shame. Maybe your attentive bees could smell the wine you'd drunk!

Hmmm, interesting theory Gattina, but if that were indeed the case, I would have a swarm of bee's above my head near everyday!!! ;)))

That could explain the humming.......
