Heaven - pure heaven!!!!! I love your flower spikes with it

Thought you'd like it Paul. Still quite small as early in the season. Is your's doing Ok. Not too much frost damage this year. This is on the pond edge, not too wet but I certainly don't have free draining soil.

OK this is amazing. I really wanted this plant so searched again and found it on Amazon.com. They also had G. tinctoria. Did a little more research and realized that G. tinctoria would be a bit more hardy in zone 7b. So I ordered one. Then - here's where I got excited - it turns out that Amazon now accepts cashback rewards from Discover Card. I had $21 in rewards, the plant and shipping were $17 so in short I am getting a free Gunnera. Paul, I will make it work. I will collect rainwater, I will collect shower water, BUT I WILL FINALLY HAVE MY GUNNERA. Woo hoo!

only plant people will understand that insane outburst.

I hope this is a fast grower, it will be the most amazing plant in the neighborhood. I can't wait to get it! I've picked out a spot for it already where it will have plenty of room.

They are pretty fast Lauram, keep it damp and protect it from frost in winter :)
