yes Pixi they're green - I cut my toe once and rested in garden - when I looked down 3 of these were on it ! lay their eggs in dead things and maggots eat their way through - nice :D

Urgh!!!!

We were doing a craft-fair in a field which had just been cleared of cows...opened the picnic basket at lunch-time...and they'd been into it and laid eggs...urgh!!!

...Not as bad as in your toe though....eek-urgh!!!!!!

only good thing is the only eat the dead bad stuff - old day medicine - maggots!! revolting things - but imagine all the rotting roadkill and dung without them - good cleaners lol. just the fact they land on rotting things then into home onto our food then houseflies vomit on it and suck it up lol :D
