This is such a common shrub. It's very widely grown throughout San Diego, CA. Photo taken Memorial Day - May 28, 2012.

I'm sure it will. This shrub blooms all year...and is so drought tolerant. You basically put it into to the ground and just forget about it.

I reckon that our season is too short. Got a couple growing in the greenhouse too just to see what they'll do.

It may be a little more difficult for you to grow L nepetifolia, as it's pretty tropical.

I have L.nepetifolia, but I doubt that it'll ever look as good as this!
