Thanks Oji. It is smothered ..It was in a pot until earlier this year..I hope it is not a swan song as it is my favourite plant. Can't believe how many more bees and hoverfly's I have since adding the birdbath.

Stunning pic Pimm's. Love my Cotinus too, but it doesn't have flowers like that!

I have not pruned it for two years in a row...That may be the reason for all the flowers. The bees are all over it, so hopefully that means seeds. I hope you are enjoying your hols Sheila :) Looking forward to the postcards when you get back here.
