Bought 'Mainacht' this week B....hopeful rather than confident. They don't seem to like it here...too cold and wet in winter of course. Still, worth a try. No sign of my 'Rose Queens' yet. The Purple Rain is the star for me...never fails. :)))))

I agree - and it hasn't let me down this year, either.

They do like dryish soil and full sun. I took some Oregano out and planted some extra Salvias in my top border. I really love them - especially 'Caradonna'. :-))

If your 'Rose Queen' isn't up and doing, I'd be worried, I think. Sorry. :-((((

I know. It's gone....all three of them. Never mind.

What a shame! Maybe Salvias don't appreciate your climate...but other plants do! ;-)

Exactly! :D

Lovely . . . my Salvias from seed are still only about 3" high, so it doesn't look as though I'll see flowers this year. :((

No, I doubt it, but think ahead! :-))
