Wolf Spider

Wolf Spider

This mother Wolf Spider was carrying around her bundle of joy on her butt ! It's her egg case and it's actually attached to her spinnerettes. I found her in May in my daylilies. I think I found this "bundle of joy" today on an Iris.

Yeah, I've got people around where I live saying they've seen them all the time. I tell them I don't think so. We live in Cayuga county in New York, and I have never seen any form of wolf spider.
