Found this rusting on the floor boards of an old garage/shed... when applying the steel wool I found the registration number and the company name. Good Birmingham steel.

My worry exactly, Oji! I didn't know it was an agricultural implement until I "googled" it. It's very serious stuff! ...I can see where it would be good for clearing undergrowth, probably more efficient than my expensive "brush cutter" attachment for my gasoline powered Weed Whacker! The weed whacker works but it will give me nerve damage in my hands, wrists and shoulders from the vibration and mechanical action. Had visions of explorers in the Amazon...crashing and thrashing thro the undergrowth! LOL...Good Birmingham Steel~!

A real jungle slasher Lori. We used a less elegant one for clearing a jungly garden in the past. We managed to stay in one piece

Going to take it up the hill into the forest and eradicate some ash seedlings that are trying to close off the pathway. LOL...good for getting rid of aggression!

Lovely looking piece of kit apart from being useful. Now dont get carried away and leave some of the Amazon standing when you are are venting your agression Lori ;~))

Looks like a serious tool, that does. I could do with one for the nettles, but would be too scared to use it, I think - visions of chopped ankles!
