Thankyou everyone, yes bet you could grow that white one Homebird like Karen says it seeds everywhere,pretty though,I had some growing in the guttering!!!!!!, god knows how it got up there, must have been the birds, noticed the blue tits love the seeds.
There are three roses planted together there Dawn, my favourite rose it flowers for such a long time, yep thats Sambucus 'Black Lace' it need of a prune I think,lol.
The tall perennial, it fact very tall this year nearing 5ft, is 'Phlomis Tuberosa' it will soon have whorls of pink flowers up the stem, and yes I grew it from seed,lol :-))

In the guttering, lol.

I've googled Phlomois Tuberosa - a new one on me, looks lovely. Are you going to post a pic when it flowers?

You won't be disappointed Dawn its lovely :-), the browny bits you can see at the top on the picture are all buds.
Yes I'll add pictures of the Phlomis when it flowers :-), do have some in other areas of the garden that are flowering but they're a bit mishapen and bent with the wind, these are in a more sheltered spot :-))

So many buds on Rosy, will be a picture soon :-)

Beautiful sweeping borders, love them........our hop with was looking fantastic has been cut to ribbons, good job we found some more to train up the obelisk.....

Thankyou DD,shame about your hop :-(, I spent yesterday doing the Chelsea chop,lol, on a few perennials that were too flattened to tie up.

Had to chop some of my lupins down due to greenfly. :(

Funny you should say that Dawn no sign of greenfly on mine for a change :-)

That is why I wont grow Lupins, was put off when they all were covered in giant greenfly.....

Aint it weird, I dont normally get that many but like your's DD, totally covered some of them and with the weather being wet etc. never caught them with spray in time. Other lupins havent been touched. The ladybirds tried their best but there were too many to consume.

We have a little bird that I've never seen before, who seems to be making a good job of the greenfly, he must have a huge family,lol, tried to get a picture but he's so fast, bit smaller than a sparrow but more slim bodied than a wren, also loads of baby blue tits about, so not seen many greenfly this year,yet, lucky me :-)

How perfect, beautiful little birds collecting them for their babies.
