I got lots, inspiration gained from peeps like yourself. I wanted shrub roses and ground cover ones to brighten the garden when the Spring flowering plants are ending:
Ballerina, Canary Bird, Magic Carpet, Rosy Cushion, Wiltshire, Broadlands, Gwent, Surrey, Worestershire, Pearl Abundance (free), Raphsody in Blue (3), Hot Chocolate and 5 Comte de Chambond to form a hedge adjacent to the pool, various climbers - which off hand I cant remeber the names but all good reliable ones :-) So exciting, buds on them all.

Aaaw thanks Dawn, I love your garden and your pond is truly amazing :-),
Beautiful choices, can't wait to see your pictures :-) , love Hot Chocolate and have been looking to see if I have a spot to squeeze one on :-)

Glad you approve Kathy :). I've put the Hot Choc in a big pot on the patio for now. Fed them all and sprayed them again today.

Beautiful. where would a garden be without roses?
11 Jun, 2012
Where indeed DD, I wouldn't be without mine :-)

Nor me......wish I could get more in....

I'm so excited about adding roses to my garden DD/Kathy. I was anti rose, not sure why but after seeing the colour they bring to gardens on GOY I'm a convert. I was ignorant about them to be honest, just had this vision of my Aunt having a bed of Floribunda. I didnt realise shrub roses existed, I can't wait for mine to flower and for them to give the garden that blast of colour once the spring flowering perennials and shrubs have finished.
