It is not instantly recognisable as an allium is it. Its a beauty.

it is different for allium,it is an open cup inside tried to take a pic that way around in the rain but it blurred,will try again when weather improves.

Phil don't know that much about these this was a sole one from AGS seed ,it looks right as far as I can tell any thoughts? the one you sent has no flowers yet.

It looks right.There is another one,I think that is very similar,(Allium insubricam ?) and often mixed up.This comes very easy from fresh seed,although you don't get much.I have 2 of the alpine blue ones sikkimense and beesianum) germinated,so hopefully something to look forward to.
