Valerium.

Valerium.

We don't know how they got here but they are next to the pond and in the gravel path giving the postman a bit of a struggle especially on wet mornings!!

Its Valerian or Centranthus Ruber to give it its proper name, seeds everywhere, probably a pressy from the birds, there's a white form too called 'Snowcloud', love it :-)

I started them off from seed when we first started the landscaping and they all self seeded very well.....on the next allotment! The westerlies blew them all from my garden and now all the allotments on that side have valerians growing except me!
