Pretty whichever variety it is, is this in whats going to be your pink border Leigh?, it'll look lovely as a backdrop for pink flowers :-))

yes kathy, well, its more on the side border but right where the corner starts so it in the perfect place isnt it, i really like this and like many other plants i never really noticed it before :-)

yes it seems very well drc. do you ever prune yours? im thinking i might like it to have a bit more shape-especially when my other plants are behind it :-)

I rather like to leave them a bit haphazzard like this Leigh. If you want to prune a bit of shape in to it then there are two ways.
You can give it a 'tidy up' prune right after flowering, before it makes seeds.
or if you don't mind NOT having flowers next year, you can wait until winter and cut it right down to about 12 to 18 inches from the ground.

Aw no then i dont want to chop a lot off and definately want flowers next year! will it be ok if i just cut back the bits that got pushed down by the rain and hanging over the lawn? i still want it big just tidier thanx pimp :o)

Right after it finishes flowering then Leigh. Then it will produce enough new growth to flower on next year.
