This is a tropical rainforest area at the San Diego Zoo. I really loved this effect. Photo taken June 19, 2012.

There's so many species of Ficus growing at the San Diego Zoo. I think this one may be F. rubinginosa var 'australis'.

Yes, F. rubiginosa and it's varieties are native to eastern Australia.
Technically, the Banyan tree is Ficus benghalensis...however, many large Ficus species which have many aerial roots are referred to as: banyan trees or banyan-like.
