herbs amongst the tiles in the sun....beautiful, and i can imagine the scent!!!

Yarrow 'Christine's Pink'
no i wish Karen, they are from Mr. Bricolage and a particularly nasty shade of pink but my clay soil discolours them nicely.

i have to mulch the herb beds now Sticki so they dont frazzle too much and get growing. the strongest smelling ones are the verveine, red sorrel and the lemon thyme, funnily enough all citrussy smells, but lovely.
cannt wait untill everything takes off, it is right next to the kitchen.

yes the lavenders are doing very well and buzzing with insect life, but the rest of the garden is definitely starting to frazzle.
i envy all the lush english gardens right now!!
i know, never happy etc ;~))
the real lavender country is a bit further to the east of us, more provencal, this is 'duck and Armagnac' country!!
