You bought this one for me too! you should get it for yourself have you got room somewhere for it.

Nope, definitely not. No room at the inn. next time I have to remove something I will have a think about getting this, but tbh the rain is ruining all my roses again, and I don't think I will buy any more. So disappointing. I'm going to buy more bog plants from now on! Funny to think that a few years ago, dry gravel beds were becoming the rage in England!

I haven't heard of this one, Barbara, its beautiful. I haven't got round to taking photos of mine yet , too busy on allotment still.

It is gorgeous isn't it Rose. I've been out today in the sunshine Mum..hurray hurray hurray.....and managed to get some more mildew spraying done and moved a couple of shrubs out of the bog...they were drowning....and planted the Carex Pendula in their place (it doesn't mind wet) and prepared some plants for meeting up with Kath and Oji tomorrow. Anyway, what I was going to say is the whole garden is just waiting to explode in to colour...Clems, roses, shrubs, and if the weather stays half decent I should have quite a different garden in a week or two ....can't wait! :D

We have had two nice days together for a change been busy with Sarah and shopping today so not been in garden yet. Might have a cuppa in a little while with Paul and sit and enjoy the late evening sunshine. :o)

Rose - Karen bought me this one a few years ago now, it smells beautiful very well worth having if you can find room it is a beauty.

I will have to keep a note of this as I have put rose cuttings next door in the allotment gardens and there is definitely room there!

This rose is a real beauty. It doesn't look as if it has any black spot; most of my roses are developing black spot this year, maybe it's the damp? Does this rose give you any problems?

4 Jul, 2012

It does not usually, I found a little blackspot, but that is the wet I think that we are getting more than disease. I have found that none of the roses are lasting well this year, the rain is ruining most flowers but eh ho I haven't had to water at all so swings and roundabouts. They will be back another year when hopefully the sun will shine more for us all. We could get a better back end to the year after it has decided to stop raining, my fingers and toes are crossed. lol :o)
