its the same here, had some lovely sunshine for a couple of hours this afternoon, so i sat outside and made a list of all the jobs i have to do in the garden!!

I have just been out and weeded the fishpond side while oh is watching footy. I like footy but the garden was more important. lol and it weeds so much easier when it is wet. Good job I did cos it is still 0 - 0 so I haven't missed much. lol.

I must admit I had to make myself do it Sticki, I am sick of not being able to get out in the garden for one reason or another, mainly weather related. I am hoping it stays fine and then tomorrow it might (might) be fit to cut the grass it grows so fast when we keep getting all this wet weather, hope you did not get what they had forecast for the west side of the country yesterday.

We had heavy showers today, but when the sun was out...warm and lovely..you would think it was summer! :D

Eh it is supposed to be summer now! so we could get some proper sunshine, I am hoping it stays dry for the weekend cricket fundraiser six-aside match with all day bbq and I am in charge as Sarah will not be able to stand to help this year. I just do not need to be cooking all day in rain and drizzle. We have been lucky in the last two years it has been hot (too hot) and we made lots of lovely money for cricket pavilion fund. So keep fingers crossed for us. xxx

glad you like it Rose, the cottage is not ours we rent it been here 33 years now, we wouldn't swap it for our own unless we win the lottery and then we might of course find a large farmhouse somewhere in the middle of nowhere and have lots of pigs and sheep and horses and dogs and cats and............................................. the list is endless. :o)

So , you have the same dream as me then Barbara. Ours is rented too and will stay here hopefully for the rest of our lives. We don't do the lottery and never have. Happy as I am.
