Had real problems getting this to bloom as the buds kept dropping.

One of my favourites Sticki! The species is from New South Wales and southern Queensland.

its lovely, why did the buds drop off ~ too cold?
25 Jun, 2012
Not too sure really, but a spell in the greenhouse seemed to firm them up.

well done you for curing it!

Oh yes love it! :-)

Me too, but it can frustrate!

The leaves look really prickly :-)

They are, in a soft sort of way...................

I love this plant. Mine just dried up.....and the leaves are prickly!

Glad its picked up Meanie.......

Me too - it was doing me 'ead in!

Had the red one, did not look after it, was outside in the wrong place....prefer the pink.
26 Jun, 2012
I need to find a permanent spot for this DD, but I'm tempted to make it a bigger pot instead............
27 Jun, 2012
The red one is growing outside in a friends garden and it is enormous, but it has a great deal of shelter.....so perhaps a pot?
27 Jun, 2012
I can probably do the shelter. Need to strike a few cuttings first if I can though............
