Woodland border now

This is the border that I completely re-vamped last year. I hauled out most of the perennials, leaving just enough to give me year round interest. I planted two Cotoneasters and removed two Eucalyptus Gunnii and I've since added a big Photinia, and some perennial digitalis scattered among the shrubs. It's coming on now. Faces North East, so gets no sun at all in the winter.

Thanks everybody...do you think so mum? This looks really yellow to me and it really doesn't grow much at all. Still....it could be a lot worse!

Thanks everyone. J...I'm wondering if it is downy mildew as opposed to powdery....but I think it might just be the cold.

If the clem has wilted and buds are drooping, the only thing to do is to cut it right down to soil level. If it is planted nice and deep it will come back, but maybe not this year....:(
