somehow i never considered roses as groundcover, will have to investigate. which one is this?

believe it or not, I bought them at the grocery store around Mother's Day last year...they pot them up with 4-6 mini bushes to a 4 inch pot and sell them for about $5. The only name I've seen on any of them is Korda...and they come in the rainbow! no blue of course...
They are very hardy, so they thrive here. I'm sure they would thrive in your climes, Dwyllis...Thanks Cinders!... I've seen your pics of roses, Resi...bet they would do just fine. they love lots of sun, not so sure about extended periods of heat though. I have plans...lol. more roses!!!!
Want to find the old rugosas...now that's a rose!

They're so pretty. I haven't ever used roses as groundcover, but they do look great, so I might do that too.
