Impressive that Oji recognised this when "blown up"!

That's because I am in regular intimate contact with this plant through trying to get rid of it from what is laughingly called a lawn!

I like it...Lawns should have flowers. :)

Our lawn is full of this this year its a b....... nuisance! But looks rather pretty close up. Now where is the weed killer..............

Hmmm . . . well, daisies and speedwell look pretty in lawns, Pimm's, but I'm not so sure about letting self-heal self-seed!

Actually, I agree, hence the buttercups and daisies already there, but this little thing is a strangler and I do like a bit of grass as well! :o)

I would think it is with a name like that Sticki... I heard the other day that Plantain leaves are better than Dock for stings and mosquito bites...You chew the leaf a bit then rub it on.

i never knew that pimms ~ could be useful, wish i had known about the mosquito bite thing ~ wouldnt have bothered buying expensive lotion to ward off the midges ~ in fact there werent any!!!!

There is a place you can buy moss by the metre...it costs a fortune, perhaps you should sell some of your lawn ?

I was investigating for making a small instant japanese moss garden bit...saw the price and decided a few mind your own buisness and a bit of patience was needed.

i have a whole roof full of moss too pimms, and all in little clumps ~ perfect for japanese!!! free to collector i think??

I am not sure Pimper, I goggled it a bit and it just said it was good for healing. I will research more when my internet is repaired. It might be a good thing to dry store or freeze who knows. I wouldn't mind some and looks very nice too I think

Turned the alarm off, turned over and now it's 11 o'clock - usually get up at 6.15 so I don't feel too guilty. I had arranged to meet up with some birdwatching pals from Ispyabird today but the weather caused its cancellation. :-(
