Thank you,Michaella,and Pixi...it's mine too..:o)
..........
Thanks Cinders..it's nice not to have to be limited as to what I can grow here...which is why it's my favourite part of the garden...
...........
Thank you,Carole..yes it is a Geum...finally spreading itself about a bit better now..I love this one..it's taken a while though..
...............
It is pretty full now,Amy,and thank you.....looks quite bare in parts, before all the Perennials grow..but love it when it all starts coming together..
............
Thank you Carol..and Wildrose..I like the colours too..it won't be as calming before long, when all the Lucifer Crocosmias flower,at the back...but I like the hot colour contrast :o)

I love this Bloomer, such clever planting how long has it taken to get it like this?

Thank you so much,Denise..I started when we moved here in 2002..dug out all the unwanted 'landscaped' plants, and it just evolved from there really...lots of moving things, and a few of ''that doesn't look right there''moments..just like all of us do,by trial and error....but this year ,is the year I think I have got it as I want it ! :o)) ..or have I? who knows Lol...

I am trying to get my front like this but its not proving easy. its solid clay and gets full sun. But slowly i am getting there

The clay will be really hard going for you,Denise..luckily,we don't have any in that part...we had lots in the back.. the reason why we have so much hard paving etc,so it was easier to dig out for small edging borders instead..it wasn't my intended plan, but as it cost us a lot for top soil etc,it was enough to deal with....lots of home made compost every year as well,so think we won in the end.:o)

Thats what I keep adding Bloomer but unlike the back the front is all clay.

Do you have a big front garden,Denise ?.I remember seeing a view you posted, but can't remember which it was ..

Thanks Jane..those Sidalcea's in the background were flattenned by the rain ,not long afterwards..so had to cut them right back..a shame as they seem to flower for ages..so my comment two weeks ago about finally getting as I want it ,has changed already!!...some will have to go,and if I keep some, they will be kept to a more manageable size by splitting..they are too big and heavy to stake now..thanks for adding to your faves :o) x
