ANCIENT DIANTHUS

Lovely. Looks like it's in a little pot? I had a nice white one but never kept on top of it and it got too woody and straggly but seeing this specimen makes me wonder if I should give them another go :-)

This little pot has been in the chimney at the front door (shown on another pic). It's been in a north facing front garden now for years and always comes through. It even survived the really severe winter of 2010!!

Well if it got through winter 2010 it must be a trooper!
