Oh Kathy. As a newbie rose grower, i'm so excited having them flower. Love them. Canary Bird didnt flower like yours but growing well.

The 2 flowers shown dont really do the rose justice, do they. With all this rain I've experienced 'balling' on my Comte de Chambord. :(

No Amy. The weird bud was on a patio rose I bought from B & Q. Just that one bud was funny, I cut it off in the end. The other flowers are nice, doubles. It was simply labelled, Pink Patio Rose.

Don't blame you Dawn it was strange it was probably some parasite best to get rid of it !
