Lifted these onions today - over wintering ones, set in the Autumn :-)

They look wonderful Dawn , we had to pull all of ours up they had gone rotten even the spring onions ,it must have been the long dry period and then the rain on top , it,s such a shame ......

What a shame Amy, so annoying when all our efforts go to waste.
Try some Hywel. I would recommend these, so easy. Just set the onion sets in the autumn - I think I bought them off a grower on Ebay - then kind of forgot them. If I grow these overwintering ones and then the summer ones, I should get a continuous supply :-)
