Thanks everyone, Heuchera have a way of shining through everything else, without overtaking....These face North...with their back due South, but are protected with a group[ of Climbing Roses, which keeps the direct Sun off their back, if that makes sense...so each get some sun and some shade too...

Hi Prickly, it's gritty sandy free draining soil, I thought it was rubbish when we first started working with it 4 years ago, but after working it, and adding too over time, it produces really good results, both with veg and plants...

Yd I think the rest of the ladies that grow Heucheras will bear me out on this, they are easy peasy to grow, I don't find them fussy...apart from some prefer real shade, and some grow like the clappers, while others are more content to take their time...
