Thank you very much Sandra, Motinot and DD2. You are right, everything looking so lush and green, but if we had some sunshine, my pot plants such as geraniums and other bedding plant would be in flower showing off :-)

I've only got 6 weeks to my open garden, so need the good old sunshine....... Anyway we cannot do anything about this wet weather, so we will have to adapt accordantly :-)

i write down which flowers i use for weddings and my garden is at least 3 weeks behind with flowers. but at least we have something to look forward to..:-}

That's right Delonix, Dottydaisy2 is absolutely correct......You can have as much rain as you like in exchange of some sunshine, as I've forgotten what the sun looks like...lol

Well, I just want to thank you both for sending us the clouds and potential rain so quickly! This morning we're getting a strong monsoonal flow...lots of clouds and possible rain this afternoon (which would be terrific!). It's a great relief and nice change from the very hot, sunny weather we've been getting the last week or so. The high temp is only suppose to be 82ºF/28ºC. today.

My word, it would be so very nice to have some sunshine. Please, please please send us as much sunshine as you can LOL!!!

The high temp the day on my last comment was a very humid 90ºF/32ºC instead of 82ºF/28ºC. Today, I hope it's a little cooler!

The highest temp here today has been 16C, half as much as your temp!!!!

WOW! Are you sure that was the high temp and not the low temp for the day?

Absolutely positive Delonix1 It's being a rerrible summer....

That's lower than our low temps in the early morning! Our overnight lows have been around 68ºF/20ºC. last week they were even higher when we had the really hot days.

Louis what date do you open? you could be lucky we might have our Summer soon lol

We open on Sat 18th & Sun 19th of this month, (under 2 weeks). I really hope you are right Dotty :-)

Louis, I would love to see your garden. I think it would be very beautiful and original. Alas, I am 6.000 miles away.

Hi Clementine, Thank you for your nice remarks. Unfortunately, I will be moving in around March time. My other property's garden is non existent, so will be a blank canvas. I think I will turn the new garden into a cottage garden as I think might suite the property. Where we are moving to, is next to a National Trust Nature Reserve, which is something I am very fond of.
You live Canada, which is a place I like. I have been there twice, and both time, I have enjoyed it immensely.
