I prefer it to the nasty grey faded Achilleas! My beautiful 'Pomegranate' bloomed like that this year, so it's gone to the compost bin, and been replaced by this.

I love the smell of the dried foliage of Yarrow...I have the naturalised yarrow growing here and there through the meadow. It's the plain old white stuff though...still love it.

That's a beuaty Spritz. The flowers look larger than most achilleas's or is that just the close up photo?

They're bigger than the ptarmica ones, certainly. The flower head itself is slightly larger than A. millefolium.

I like that it looks more open. Everything's got too big this year, my G. rozanne is at least 4 feet across:-)

And mine! I think they're on steroids, Ba. ;-D)

Do you think that it's all the water or lack of sunlight? I only have two Rozannes and they take up so much space now in my small garden. I expect it of Ann Folkard, but even that is over doing it this year. I bet you're glad you aren't opening this year, I feel sorry for those who are:-)

It looks delicate and pretty :o)

Thanks, Petal. :-))
Ba - the two dates we'd booked (and cancelled) were wet days. It would have been a nighmare.
