13 Jul, 2012

I know! but won't tell;-) lol
such a lovely picture -it would be - if it wasn't for a bit of a watering can in the corner...
wanted to say it would do nice as a postcard - but with the greeny - excuse my poor English Stevie - is the eyesore a proper word? - nah;-(

13 Jul, 2012

I can't look now..all I see is a watering can..It's an eyesore! ;))

13 Jul, 2012

well - the thing is the pink flower (still won't tell;-) is catching your eye so only after a while you see the green can.

13 Jul, 2012

hhuuuttt huummm 'Eyesore'!!! lol

Eupatorium maculatum

13 Jul, 2012

tut tut - it's not;-) compare the leaves:)

13 Jul, 2012

I have my sunglasses on... I can still see the watering can!

13 Jul, 2012

well - I can see it without my glasses, lol

13 Jul, 2012

Well for calling my pic and eyesore!! you'll have to tell us kasy

13 Jul, 2012

ok, ok... will do:)

13 Jul, 2012

(shh she doesn't know)

13 Jul, 2012

of course I DO!!!
you just didn't tell me when to tell you. Now or later? or tomorrow? lol

13 Jul, 2012

13 Jul, 2012

She does have a MASSIVE plant brain.

13 Jul, 2012

13 Jul, 2012

Not Spirea then.... ?

13 Jul, 2012

13 Jul, 2012

Look at that watering can !!! I can't think. ;))

13 Jul, 2012

oh - what have I started????? lol
well - my mind is switching off already. And I am working tomorrow - so better go and charge my batteries.
And seems like Stevie has disappeared somewhere...
So we will solve the mystery tomorrow:)

13 Jul, 2012

Should have stuck a wellie in the pic then at least it would be featured ; )

13 Jul, 2012

It can be featured in watering cans instead!

13 Jul, 2012

bit of gravel chucked in! ; )

13 Jul, 2012

And nominate for the triple!

14 Jul, 2012

Looks like 'temporarily forgotten what this pink' became a 'permanently forgotten' Stevie, lol
OK - will tell you now:
It is a Philipin..... errrr -sorry a spelling mistake -
Filipendula purpurea or if you prefer easier to remember name - Meadowsweet.

15 Jul, 2012

Well at last kasy!! did your broadband crash as well? ; )
well anyways, thanks for 'looking that up' ; )
But no sorry it is of course Japanese Meadowsweet

16 Jul, 2012

ahem!

Japanese meadowsweet or Spiraea japonica, I did mention spiraea..the notion was dismissed !

Kasy did take a long, long time. ;)

16 Jul, 2012

The flower looks more or less the same Pimper lol,
I can assure you no notion is dismissed if it can be stored and then made into a pallet bench. In the court of Terrible, the jury have come back with the verdict ''at'll do'' ; )
but yes I think total contempt of court for kasy, pretending to know ; )

16 Jul, 2012

Lol... I meant Kasy dismissed it.." don't think so...."

Then I stayed in all yesterday to get the answer as Kasy promised to tell all, in quite a teasy fashion I might add........and nothing, not a word.!!

16 Jul, 2012

That´s nice. What kind of flower is the pink one? Is that Spirea or Achillea?

16 Jul, 2012

Lol From the mouths of babes and innocents. Jx

16 Jul, 2012

Katarina, its Japanese Meadowsweet but if you prefer Spirea its ok to call it that too, just dont listen to Kasy ; )

16 Jul, 2012

meadowsweet is a nice name ~ isnt there a native wild flower thats meadowsweet ~ creamy white???

16 Jul, 2012

Sorry guys to keep you waiting for so long. After the initial period I've spend in my cell I am allowed to use the internet for few minutes. My petition will include this:
Common names????!!!!! grrrr!!! so misleading and confusing!
For example:
Japanese meadowsweet AND Japanese meadowsweet.
What plant are we talking about:
A perennial Filipendula purpurea: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/46/
or
is it a shrub Spiraea x bumalda 'Anthony Waterer': http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/558/

So please, please His Highness in court of Terrible - change the verdict and let me out of that jail house;-)

18 Jul, 2012

Jury will reconvene (in a year or so) due to addition of 'new ' evidence ; )

18 Jul, 2012

oh, thank you so much:):):) I have planned to stay low for a year - so it suits me well:)
