eww I spent everyday for a week picking that nasty lily bug off mine...and squashing them...yuk...

Aw Crissue that is a shame they do make a mess, fortunately I have been spared a visit from the horrid pest, I was about to buy a beautiful red lily but noticed traces of lily beetle so left it there - I did let the manager know though :o)

It managed to get a few bites in before I caught up with it...and mine was a gift from a friend, so it was especially important...When I told her, she said friends of hers plant a garlic bulb in with their Lilies, so there's a thought...
I do use Home made Garlic spray, but didn't find it as effective against these vicious little pests...

Such a lovely plant too...

It would certainly be worth a shot Crissue to keep away the nastyLily pest, probably others too :o)
