Oh these are so much further on than mine. Mine are just at the flower stage and in this awful damp, dim, cool weather we are having I wonder if they will get any further!

Hi Kat, you can find lots of recipes on google for Aubergine dishes, take your pick, we blanch and freeze ours, and we then have them all year..
Pam they will get a spurt on, they tend to be doing nothing for a while, then off they go...We also tried a White Aubergine too, but, that one is not doing so good...Good luck with yours...

Thanks DD, this is our second year of growing, and we had enough from two plants last year to freeze and use all year...so hoping for another good crop.

How do you prepare them, Crissue? I had a colleague in hospital, he comes from Afghanistan and he used to prepare for us perfect dish from aubergines, with cream, herbs and fresh bread, it was the most delicious food from aubergines I ever ate.
