Oh yeah. I have a strawberry tower....I eat loads of strawberries when I water the garden. Bought a few new plants this year but I don't like the taste of them and they are too small.

It's most likely too hot for strawberries, now. Strawberries are a winter and early spring crop here.

Hi Alex, I buy mine in Autumn, they get settled in and start producing the following year, not had enough to make Jam this year, but plenty for desert...Have runners also to take off soon, my problem is planning where to plant them, space is a premium here...Love a good Strawberry....

They are an early spring to early summer crop here. Way way too hot now but mine are still giving me fruit every few days.

Crissue, it's way too hot to plant mine out now....(the roots have really grown). I might have to pot them up and wait for September to plant out....
I always eat mine as desert, most of them right in the garden.
Why don't you try a strawberry tower. I had my hubby make me one last year.

That's a good idea, have you got a pic I could see...Going up seems to be the only option for me nowadays lol....

Hhmm, no picture now. I will take a pic for yo to see....it doesn't look pretty at the moment....the strawberry plants are not liking this heat.
