They are Clarice, what is funny is watching the little ones giving them a run for their money at feeding time :o)

Cheers Pixi - We bought some new plants, they look like spiders, they are so pretty and seem to have helped keep the pond clear.

Such pretty fish !! something wrong with ours - lost 5 in one week :(

Oh no... I only lose mine to the Heron or Baggy. Sometimes we fill the pond with fresh water but put treatment in and hope for the best, but if there is disease in the pond you might have to start again :o(

yes unfortunately - I wonder as we have no pump or oxygenators if they are drowning - no oxygen at all

Oh no Paul! Get a pump! Or oxygenating plants..they arent expensive :)

I've just been thinning out our water soldiers they'd really multiplied this year when they emerged after winter and they flowered for the first time too.

Beeeeeeautiful fish & the water so clear!! Almost looks as if they are not in water at all!!!

Cheers Fiery. It is. We have a small 'stream'/waterfall that trickles into it and the sound is so soothing too.
