Fox in the garden

As we were sitting in the garden one evening the fox came through the arch and started to sniff around for bits left under the bird feeder. Luckily we had a camera and this was the result. We stayed very still and watched him for about 10 minutes before he became aware of us and loped off. Wow!

How nice to be able to watch such a beautiful animal at close range , we have one that come up our lane sometimes we see at at night in the cars headlights ....

Well caught.......
We had a pair a couple of years ago they used to come and drink from our pond, they had cubs which we never saw but you could hear them calling at night, verrrry freaky sound .

Yes I know what you mean, we hear them across in the forest in the night, I don't like the noise they make at all!

How fantastic,Pam..we have one that walks round most early mornings,around 3 am,according to my OH and some neighbours..I have never seen it..!
