Thank you Drc and Melchi and Moti so glad you like it too. :O) It can get a little untidy as they die down for next year but it does look amazing in the sunshine at the moment. I was only saying yesterday, to my daughter, it is really weird when you have seen it bare and very tidy and then with a little colour and then in June and July it burst out with such vigour and shows off for a few weeks. I love gardening when the sun shows off the colours.

So do I Olive, the sun makes all the difference to gardening.

Yes it is Drc it had bare spots in there last year but they are all filling in nicely this year. :O)

Certainly are, have been out there most of the day, suffering now for my fun though, knees are very sore :O) Just had a sharp shower of rain but back to sunshine now. :O)

We've had a couple of very sharp but short showers today. I managed to do some gardening, though, even in the front (very much the poor relation, I'm ashamed to say!)

It is good to get out there in the fresh air. My front garden is not up to much either, mainly because the electric fence cuts across it and I have to wait for help to lift it to cut the grass. It will soon be down now, the baby ducks have just about all gone so we shall not need to keep the fox off the field soon. :o)

Sadly I do not have such an interesting excuse! (I mean "reason" - I need an excuse!)

The rain has stopped me! or maybe the OH said I had done enough today! lol as if! or the ironing needed doing first and I was too exhausted to get back into the garden. lol. (I hate ironing)

I am a champion non-ironer! (I do iron some things, but not as many as most, I bet!)

I only iron the OH shirts and trousers and mine if they really really need it, the clothes drier is very useful, stick them in there for 20 minutes or so to air and fold them while they are still warm no creases then. think it does increase the leccie bill slightly but OH will never know. lol.

Ah - I shall have to look to my laurels, Olive!!!

Even though we live oceans apart, we have the same problems and also the same thinking about our gardens. Of course, most of us are copying you, The English garden is our model.. . Happy gardening to you, i will post a pic of my borders too.

Hi there Wells, yes gardeners have much the same problem and dilemas to think about all over the world. Last year it was water shortage this year it is too much water for us in this part of the country. But after saying that this year the garden is lasting for much much longer and the flowers are pretty amazing again now we are getting some sunshine in between the rain. Thanks for your good wishes which of course are reciprocated. Enjoy your garden.
