:( I havent had many slugs but there are hundreds of snails!!!

Night after night before it turned dry I would find 40-50 slugs and sometimes double that, even climbing the walls. The snails I found higher up on the plants. Not one Dahlia has survived this years and my short Shastas have been so badly eaten that only one has flowered. I even thought I found a pile of cat poo on the front door step till it moved! It was a heap of slugs.

I have been dropping them in beer everynight. But thankfully its turned dry for the last few nights as it was beginning to make me feel quite sick.

Let us hope next year we have the seasons at the right time, we were at a village open gardens this afternoon and got stranded in one of the gardens, when the heavens opened, we had thunder lightning and hail stones, she very kindly let us shelter in her house, the road was flooded, leaving huge puddles, never seen anything like it.
