it'd be a bit boring! so many shades of grey between black and white. mind you, if it was all we knew, we'd never know any different and would be perfectly happy with it
A lot of animals don't have colour vision but then they have other senses to make up for it - superb smell, or hearing, or senses that we don't have at all - able to detect magentic lines, infra-red, ultra-violet

Yes, I know about that, Fran. In Vienna they have a restaurant/pub where everything is served in absolute darkness. A pitch-dark, that is the suitable English term, I think :)
Waiters are all people who are blind, so they know how to walk among tables without bigger problems, in contrary to normal visitors.
The pub is very popular there. Here in Slovakia it would be paradise for thieves, so no chance to open something like that, lol.
