Yes, it's a nice-shaped tree. All the Celadine plumeria trees are loaded with flowers, right now. :>)

This looks amazing! Can these be grown in cooler climates outside or only in house/conservatories? I'm in the UK .

Pixielady:

Sorry, in the UK it's strictly a house or greenhouse plant/tree. It only grows well outside in the ground in tropical/subtropical climates.

Alexandramou:

I just noticed your comment, sorry!

Celadine is one of the easiest plumeria trees to grow. They should be blooming soon. :>)

;o)))

I think they will bloom next summer!!!

One important piece of information for next year's blooming season: fertilize heavily with high bloom this year. The latent buds are formed in the previous year's growth. This is why I try to fertilize heavily in Oct/Nov. The ones that haven't bloomed this year definitely didn't get a high bloom fertilizer last fall.

It's usually not critical to fertilize when a tree is growing in the ground. Like the one posted above.

Oh, thanks for the piece of info!

I think I will risk planting one in my garden next spring.

You're welcome! :>)

Yes, go for it! If you plant it in a dry and protected spot it should do well! You can always cover it if you expect frost or a freeze. Remember though, cold wet soil is worse than frost or a freeze...Plumeria trees need to be kept completely dry in winter (or it'll rot!).

Yes, it's very easy to make a common plumeria lei. The plumeria lei with just flower pedals is much more involved.
