I was in Cracow today for the whole day. Very nice trip. And received a very good private lunch. I ate the best barszcz of the century :))

hmmm - barszcz.... A friend of mine says it is a vampire/Dracula soup, lol.

It is interesting, I did not like barszcz when I worked in Cracow. At that time I usually had lunch in Rozowy Slon network of canteens. Those soups were not good. But today it was made by 80 year old mother of my ex-colleague, with special cake filled with mushrooms, and it was delicious.............hmm :) Barszcz is good for blood :)

there is nothing better Katarina than home made soup;-)
oh my - forgot what we called those little cakes.... Now you got me thinking - won't be able to sleep, lol. That's a special one to go with barszcz...
