Mirabilis

I am growing this for the first time this year from seeds Amy sent me, the seeds which germinated very quickly but oh dear the slugs really had a feast and I was left with just two plants which have now started budding, but the weather has been so wet I havent had chance to enjoy them, do you know if they are Perienials?

Thank you both. PP it is not a perennial unfortunately, but I know what you mean about the s...s.! These seeds were sent to me from a GoYer, I think it was Sheilabub, I shall have to look it up.......yes it was. Last year I only had white and she said she would send me some coloured ones. There is also a pink & white striped one, but I can't seem to catch it with the flowers out. Do you know what colour yours are ?

Judging by the buds that were growing they look pink, but looked this morning and they have been torally ravaged by the slugs again ;0((

Oh no! What a shame. I find a lot of the damage is done by small snails, just the tiny ones.
