These came from seed I sowed in January, I think.

Thank you, 6d! :-)) I did get a surprisingly good crop from these onions which I grew from seed.

I have been very pleased with the onions this year, whether from seed or sets! With our wet, cold "summer" they did far better than I could have hoped! I now know for future years that they do very well with lots of water all summer.

You must have good drainage too with onions hope your next years crop is as good.
