You are very right, Jane! I did get a lot of Onions & I WAS very pleased with the great majority of them, too! Did you realize the photo was from last year? This year I grew a different variety but from sets. The seeds I sowed on Christmas Eve last year didn't germinate. :-(( Apparently they are only viable for a year & you have to get new seeds each year. I've bought a packet to sow again this year!

no for some reason i had not noticed that the reason being when i was looking out for some gardeners with onions i was on the look out only with onions in mined...

I've harvested many onions again this year but none were from seed. I planted only one bag of sets this year. But I learned from last year they will pay you back handsomely from a lot of watering!
