I was trying to get this little hummingbird feeding on the flower on this tree at the San Diego Zoo. Photo taken Aug. 28, 2012.

He didn't really rest...he just hovered for a moment. lol! :>) I took several pics, this was the best.
The hummingbirds really love Markhamia flowers. I have two spcies of Markahmia...and the humming birds are always around them (of course when they're in bloom).

At least he stopped to rest so you could get a pic! The ones here are so fast I can only get shots of them if they are waiting in ambush...very territorial little birds. Once again...in awe of all the beauty.
