This is special sort of pinus tree, Bik. This one grows only in the High Tatra (endemit Pinus cembra). I love Mediterranean shores as they smell from the sea and Pinus trees. And in the evening one can hear cicadas :)

I have never been there. I have been in Greek part of Cyprus and on Rhodos. But mostly this scenery I had in Yugoslavia. Tell me, where there are beaches with pinus woods in Greece? I have hear about Lesbos and then another island, which name doesn´t come into my mind. Actually, I know about Corfu, but in Corfu they have problems with contaminated ait conditioning in hotels (do not know why, but all my patients with pneumonia came from the holiday from that island...). I wish to go to Greece sometimes out of the season.

Yes, I think that second island about which I have heard was Skiathos, but are there any direct lines from European towns?
